A company called Volcon has an interesting electric motorcycle design for off-road use called Grunt. The bike has wide tires and sells for $ 5,995. Volcon promises premium craftsmanship and says that the Grunt can easily navigate various terrains and deal with inclement weather.
The internal battery can drive 160 kilometers per charge. This interval would certainly vary depending on the terrain and the speeds at which the bicycle is operated. To keep the fun going, the Grunt was designed with replaceable batteries so that a new one can be connected.
Grunt promises low seat height and different driving modes to make it easier and more fun for riders of all abilities. The top speed is 60 mph, and the bike produces 75 foot-pounds of torque and up to 50 horsepower. It is capable of reaching 60 mph in 6.0 seconds.
Despite the 32-inch low seat height, it has 30 centimeters of ground clearance to overcome obstacles. The transmission system and electrical components are all rated IP67, making them completely waterproof, allowing the bike to cross rivers and streams without fear. Volcon says this also means that the bike can be washed under pressure without damaging any electronic devices.
The Grunt offers three different riding modes to suit new and experienced pilots. When the Grunt was first revealed, one can be booked without placing a deposit, but all reservations were made within the first 24 hours. Interested parties can still make a $ 250 deposit to one of the first 250 Grunt owners to be delivered in the spring of 2021. A $ 150 deposit will obtain a Grunt at an unspecified later date. The company also plans to introduce electricity side-by-side in the future, with the Stag being a two-seater sports-style machine and the Beast a four-seater machine.
