Samsung teamed up with Hulu to launch a new series of reality competitions called Exposure. This is simply a brand collaboration that will essentially market the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G device to viewers – the whole series is based on using the phone to complete photographic challenges.
The exhibition is scheduled to arrive at Hulu on April 26. Beginning photographers will compete each week using Samsung’s next-generation smartphone to capture images. The show, of course, will be used to showcase the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s camera technology, which is quite substantial and a key selling point for the device.
Samsung is proud that this model features the ‘highest resolution photos and videos on a smartphone.’ This handset comes with a 40 MP front camera, as well as 12 MP, 108 MP rear cameras and two 10 MP cameras with ultra-wide, wide angle and telephoto lenses. In addition, Samsung compressed the ‘space zoom’ to 100x.
Samsung played a role in shaping the reality competition from the start, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which received a statement from Hulu’s Liz Levy who said, in part:
Brands must create entertainment, not just content, that highlights diversity, inclusion and support culture, and do it where it matters, in the most watched marketing stage of the 21st century – Streaming TV. At Hulu, we recognize that it is imperative that publishers and brand partners work together to redefine how we reach the public.
