This week, the next “Spotlight Hour” is ready to roll on Pokémon GO. The next event will take place on November 10, 2020, from 6pm to 7pm local. This means that no matter where you are, as soon as the bell rings 18:00 (also known as 18:00 hours), it will be time for all the Jigglypuff you can handle!
In Pokémon GO on November 10, 2020, you’ll see a lot of Jigglypuff available in the jungle. During the hour, you will also receive twice the capture XP – double the experience points you would normally get whenever you capture a Pokémon of any kind!
This event will also give users a much better chance – or better chance – of finding a Shiny Pokémon. Of course, you’ll be touching the Pokémon Jiggypuff you see as much as possible – and this will be the Pokémon with an increased chance of being a Shiny Pokémon as well.
The regular version of Jigglypuff is pink bordering on peach, with teal eyes. The Shiny version of Jigglypuff is much more surely PINK, with GREEN eyes. The same is true for Wigglytuff, while Igglybuff only changes the skin, not the eyes. You will probably find Igglybuff in Pokémon eggs more often during this hour if you happen to get an egg or two at the time provided – but this will be extremely difficult to track if it is tracked!
You may also find that Wigglytuff appears in the wild during this event. For the past two years, Niantic has been more open to the idea that evolved types may be available in nature, not just the first stage of every type of Pokémon.
Can you imagine living in a world where there are real Pokémon living in the jungle, and ONLY the first stage evolutions appear outside a Poké Ball? That would be absolutely crazy!
