Kuwait’s general directorate of civil aviation said on Saturday morning in a tweet that it had suspended all direct commercial flights from India, starting on April 24 and until further notice.
The action was followed by health authorities after an assessment of the global status of the coronavirus.
All passengers arriving from India directly or through another country will be prohibited from entering unless they have spent at least 14 days outside India, the statement said.
Kuwaiti citizens, their first-degree relatives and domestic workers will be allowed to enter. The load is not affected.
