JBL has unveiled a series of audio equipment for CES 2021, including new lines of headphones for everyday life. The line includes the new JBL Live Pro +, Live 660NC and Live 460NC, all offering Adaptive Noise Canceling, in addition to a number of other features. The new offerings are accompanied by a JBL soundbar, gaming headphones and more.
The line starts with JBL LIVE Pro +, a pair of real wireless headphones with a ‘stick’ design similar to AirPods, as well as a water resistant IPX4 construction and the ability to touch the headset to gain access to voice assistants – the latter is also accessible by speaking the hot word.
Despite their small size, the headphones feature three microphones alongside adaptive noise cancellation with smart environment features and echo cancellation. In addition, JBL says that these headphones can be charged wirelessly; every ten minutes of loading results in an hour of playback.
This model will be available in April for 179 euros.
The company also has two pairs of over-ear headphones with its new LIVE 660NC and the cheaper 460NC models. The LIVE 660NC likewise features adaptive noise cancellation, offering up to 40 hours of playback when it is active or up to 50 hours when the ANC is turned off.
The model’s integrated microphones offer access to voice calls and voice assistants, including support for hot word access. In addition, this model has a multipoint connection to quickly connect to different devices. The 460NC model offers essentially the same features, but is a little cheaper at 129 EUR versus 179 EUR. Both headphones will be available from March.
