‘From Cotton To Congress To Clown’: MSNBC Host Trashes Tim Scott, Says He’s ‘Thirsty for White’s Approval’

MSNBC presenter Tiffany Cross criticized South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott during a monologue on Saturday, accusing him of being “thirsty for white approval.”

Cross claimed that Scott represented only the few black Americans who could be classified as “sleepy and retarded sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome” and suggested that if the senator had been a slave, he would be among those “Harriet Tubman left behind. “

Cross pointed out that Scott was the only black Republican senator – there are two black Democratic senators – and said he looked like a “stone idiot” when he said in response to President Joe Biden’s speech to Congress: “Listen to me clearly, America it’s not a racist country. ”

“OK. Let’s be clear. Tim Scott does not represent any constituent except the small number of sleepy and retarded Stockholm Syndrome sufferers who are elevated to prominence for repeating a false narrative about this country that makes conservative whites feel comfortable, ”began Cross.

She went on to say that the Republican Party would have tried to silence Scott if he had dared to “speak an uncomfortable truth” and referred to Scott as McConnell’s “tap dancer”, arguing that he didn’t even seem to believe the things he was saying.

“I could go into detail by refuting each of his stupid points, but he did it for me and besides, a lesson I learned, don’t argue with people that Harriet Tubman would have left behind,” continued Cross.
