Shiny Pokémon GO Spring event and what to look for

Today we’re taking a look at all the details of the newest Pokémon GO events. This week is the Spring into Spring event on Pokémon GO, from Sunday, April 4 (yesterday) until Thursday, April 8, 2021. This event features a variety of super cute Pokémon that EVERYONE has the potential to be brilliant, including – mostly – Shiny Bunnelby and his Shiny Diggersby evolution. This event also graced the Pokémon GO world with the first Mega Lopunny in Mega raids!

This week, we’ll see spring-themed stickers pop up on the PokeStop gifts and rounds. This event will deliver beautiful special edition Flower Crown versions of Happiny, Eevee, Chansey, Pikachu and Pichu as well. Each of these Flower Crown versions can appear as Shiny Pokémon – so “complete” collectors will have a hard time for them.

This week Shadow Exeggcute appears most often in battles with Team GO Rocket (or Team Rocket in Pokémon GO, if you prefer). You will find a series of Field Research Tasks exclusive to events ready for your reading, as well as at least one Collection Challenge with a Spring theme.

In 2 km of eggs collected this week, we will see a super cute set of Pokémon, including only ONE that still can’t look shiny: Munchlax! The rest of this week’s 2 km eggs have the potential to appear as Pokémon Shiny. These include Bunnelby, Rufflet, Happiny, Buneary, Azurill, Togepi, Pichu, Eevee and Exeggcute.

In the jungle this week, you’ll find a set of cute Pokémon with a spring theme. All Pokémon Spring that appeared in the jungle this week have the potential to be Shiny – so start hunting for Pikachu, Exeggcute, Chansey, Eevee, Marill, Plusle, Minun, Buneary and Bunnelby.

During this event, you will see 2x Hatch Candy, 1/2 hatch egg distance and 1 hour of Lucky Eggs. The event runs from Sunday, April 4, at 10 am, until Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 8 pm local time.
