Those who want to get their hands on a PS5 should take a look at GameStop right now. The retailer apparently has some PlayStation 5 consoles in stock, but as is usually the case with GameStop, these consoles are only available in packs. While this makes the initial cost of getting one of these PS5s a little higher than just buying the PlayStation 5 on your own, it could make it easier to get one, as long as you are willing to overpay.
GameStop packages are usually fairly priced for what you receive, so you don’t necessarily have to worry about paying too much. Obviously, it is preferable if you really want everything that comes with the package, especially since GameStop does not allow you to return any part of the package without returning the entire contents of the package.
In any case, GameStop has three different packages on offer today. There is one that includes a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, two DualSense controllers, 12 months of PlayStation Plus, a $ 50 gift card from PlayStation Store and a $ 20 gift card from GameStop for $ 599.99. This is the cheapest package that GameStop offers today, as the other two packages include the standard PlayStation 5 with a Blu-Ray drive.
The second package available includes the console, two DualSense controllers, Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and a $ 20 GameStop gift card for $ 729.99. The final package is the largest of the three and comes with the console, two DualSense controllers, Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, Hitman 3, The Avengers and a $ 20 GameStop gift card for $ 759.99.
We are currently seeing these packages going in and out of stock, but GameStop says it will periodically add more stock, so keep an eye on these lists. Good luck to those trying to steal a console, and we’ll let you know when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are in stock elsewhere.
