Pixel Buds A leak suggests more affordable Google wireless headphones

It looks like Google is preparing to launch a new pair of real wireless headphones called ‘Pixel Buds A’, at least according to a new leak. The report states that Pixel Buds A will arrive with two entirely new color options and that the model will be visually differentiated from non-A models with some subtle adjustments to the overall color scheme.

The leak comes from 9to5Google, which informs that Pixel Buds A will be offered in white and dark green colors. It is said that the headphones and the case have essentially the same design as the Pixel Buds already released, but will eliminate the black plastic found inside the case and at the tips of the ears.

Instead, the black elements will be the same color as the headphones and the outer case for a completely white or dark green color scheme. In addition, the report states that users will still have access to Google Assistant touch controls and media control.

The Pixel Buds A name indicates that the new headphones can be a more affordable version of the Pixel Buds, using the designation ‘a’ in the same way as the Pixel 4 compared to the Pixel 4a. However, there is no clear price for the model at the moment and it is difficult to say what Google planned.

The report notes that some documents suggesting a true Google wireless headset product have recently appeared on the FCC. Assuming that this list belongs to the Pixel Buds A model listed in the leak, it is possible that we will see Google officially launch the product sometime this summer.
