The country star recently spoke out about the unfair pressures moms face to get their pre-baby bodies back
Maren Morris is showing off his tanned and toned body!
On Thursday, the singer from “The Bones”, 31, posted a series of photos from her tropical vacation with her husband Ryan Hurd, showing off her figure in an orange stripy bikini.
At the time, Morris showed off a two-piece swimsuit by French designer Jacquemus. She complemented the look with a pair of Ray-Ban tortoise sunglasses and a gold chain.
“Tan almost everywhere. Jan almost everywhere. 🌴”, the singer captioned the post, referring to a line from The Office.
The artist – who took home the ACM song of the year and female artist of the year awards last weekend – also shared a photo wearing a white Jacquemus top and a shell necklace from jewelry brand Alameda Turquesa.
Many of Morris’s followers gushed about his appearance in the post’s comments.
“Well, HELL 🔥,” wrote Carly Pearce, while Kristin Cavallari added, “Damn, girl! 🔥”
Dorit Kemsley, the housewife star of Beverly Hills, replied, “Love the body chain in you! 🔥”
The country artist’s post comes shortly after she commented on the pressure on mothers to recover their pre-baby figures.
“We are always extremely pressured to erase any evidence in our body that we have had a child – that we have been holding a child for nine, 10 months – so I just realized how bad it was for me and my training journey was like, ‘I need to go back where I was before, ‘”Morris told reporters Sunday night in the virtual press room at the 2021 ACM Awards.
According to the country’s megastar, “that’s not really the goal – that shouldn’t be the goal, just erase the fact that you had a child.”
Morris said she was “very proud of where [her] body is now, even though it is several pounds heavier” than it was before she and Hurd welcomed son Hayes, their first child together, last March.
“It’s like, ‘I did something that half the population can’t do.’ So I think this is very good, “she said.” That’s how I got to this epiphany and I thought, ‘I’m going to share this.’ “
Earlier this month, the artist GIRL posted a set of photos of herself – the first of her relaxing in nude colored panties on the bed and the second of her exercising in a different gray set – and wrote that she “never says’ trying have my body back ‘again. “
“Nobody took it, I didn’t lose it like a bunch of keys. The pressure we put on mothers to ‘react’ is insurmountable and deeply problematic, ”Morris shared. “You are and have always been a goddamn badass. And yes, I am proud.”
