HyperX Alloy Origins 60 delivers clicky compact keyboard for $100

HyperX folks unveiled a new 60% mechanical gaming keyboard this week at CES 2021. This new keyboard is sleek, extremely colorful and includes keys with symbols on more than one side. This HyperX Alloy Origins 60 model works wonders with a function button.

This keyboard connects to your computer with a USB-C port and is the company’s first fully mechanical HyperX gaming keyboard. This machine is capable of storing three profiles in its onboard memory through the HyperX Windows 10 application or directly from the keyboard.

The HyperX Windows 10 app allows the user to perform keyboard customizations for LED lights as well. You will be able to program the lighting throughout the keyboard, as well as define macro commands for the keys with this application.

This device has HyperX Red linear mechanical switches and each key is pressed twice. With PBT double-trigger treatment, each key is configured to last much, much longer without deterioration than a single key key. This is particularly important when you’re talking about a key that works with printed and semi-transparent elements for LED lighting – things can get weird!

The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 keyboard will have a release date of February 22, 2021. This keyboard will be available for $ 99.99 MSRP, and you will likely find the device everywhere you would normally buy your HyperX gaming supplies. Stick around for a lot more CES 2021 and a few more HyperX bits and pieces in the main news feed here at SlashGear this week!
