Google Fi promo cuts ‘Unlimited’ price for the first three months

Google Fi entices new customers with an introductory Unlimited price and some new Motorola phones.

Google’s MVNO remains a strong option for wireless service, and if you’re thinking of moving, there’s an additional carrot now. A 50 percent discount is available for the first three months of service in your Unlimited package with 480p video streaming and high-speed data for the first 22 GB per person. As usual with Fi, there are no contracts, so you can try it for $ 35 a month for one person, no strings attached.

Separately, Google Fi is also adding three inexpensive Motorola handsets to its line at relatively low prices: Moto G Power ($ 199), Moto G Play ($ 199) and Motorola One 5G Ace ($ 279). For a “limited time”, anyone who joins or adds a line can get one of Motorola phones free of charge with a credit to their Fi account.
