Dr. Manisha Jadhav, from Mumbai, who was the Medical Director at Sewri TB Hospital, passed away on Monday night due to COVID-19 after posting a sincere message on her Facebook just hours before her death.
The 51-year-old doctor posted: “Maybe on the last good day. I may not find you here on this platform. Take care of everything. The body dies. The soul does not. The soul is immortal (sic). ‘
According to local media, some 18,000 doctors have been infected with the new coronavirus in Maharashtra and 168 have died from the virus so far.
The country recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in one day worldwide, as well as the highest number of deaths in the past 24 hours.
