
The UAE climate department on Sunday of high waves in the Oman Sea, and urged people to be cautious.
According to a tweet from the National Meteorological Center, winds that reach speeds of 40 km / h and waves up to 6 feet high are likely in the Oman sea.
“Fresh winds from northwest to west with a speed of 40kmph, and rough sea with wave height reaching 6 feet in the Oman Sea, from 8 pm on Sunday, 4 April, until 8 pm on Monday, 5 April” , the agency said in a tweet.
Issuing a “yellow alert”, the department urged the public to be alert during outdoor activities.
